At Dreamliy, your family's privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Dreamliy, you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Account information

When you create a Dreamliy account, we collect your email address and a display name. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive basic profile information (email, name) from the provider.

Story inputs

To create personalized bedtime stories, you may provide: your child's first name, age group, favorite interests or themes, preferred language, and a chosen narrator voice. This information is used solely to generate stories for your account.

Usage data

We automatically collect limited technical data such as device type, browser, approximate location (country/region), and anonymous usage statistics (for example, the number of stories created). This helps us keep the service reliable and improve quality.

Payment information

If you purchase a subscription, payment is processed by our payment provider (Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. We receive only a payment confirmation and the last four digits of your card.

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate and deliver the bedtime stories you request.
To create and maintain your Dreamliy account.
To process subscriptions and payments.
To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, payment receipts).
To improve the reliability, safety, and quality of the service.
To respond to support requests and comply with legal obligations.

3. Children's Privacy

Dreamliy is designed for parents and guardians to create bedtime stories for their children. Accounts are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children directly. The child's first name and age range that a parent enters are used solely for story personalization and are not used for advertising or profiling.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us at hello@dreamliy.com and we will promptly delete it.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share limited information only with trusted service providers that help us run Dreamliy:

Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
Cloudflare — content delivery, DNS, and audio storage (R2).
Google (Gemini) — story text generation.
ElevenLabs — voice narration synthesis.
Resend / Amazon SES — transactional email delivery.
Stripe — payment processing (if you subscribe).

These providers process information only on our instructions and under confidentiality obligations. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Dreamliy and its users.

5. Data Retention

We keep your account data and stories for as long as your account is active. You can delete individual stories at any time from the Library. When you delete a story, the associated audio file is removed from our storage. If you close your account, we delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain certain records for legal or accounting purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction or deletion of your data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Withdraw consent at any time.

8. Cookies

Dreamliy uses a small number of essential cookies to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences (such as your language). We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Dreamliy is operated globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We use service providers with appropriate safeguards to protect your data during international transfers.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email.
